Testimonial
Foecking's Party Player is great fun and saved the senior - center dances. My 86 yr old father, was running dances in a Philadelphia senior center. I swear, he was lugging CDs back and forth with a boom box and a microphone to play over the center's PA system and he was talking of quitting because it was getting to hard for him. I flashed the idea for him to use a laptop playing MP3s. He grumbled, but didn't say no. Then he groveled "Big buttons and limited features so I cant get into trouble. Don't like trouble". After weeks of searching I stumbled onto the Foecking Party Player. I never thought about building my own player skin. Everything is completely configurable. Size of player, window backgrounds and function buttons, locations of all and even which buttons are visible. You can even disable a visible button, to protect against rebels or the mischievous in the house. I even configured a keyboard, right on the player, for simple use (non QWERTY style with only the alpha bet, space and backspace). FsPP also incorporates the best intuitive search engine ever. Optionally, it modifies the archive list, decreasing the possible selections as you type more letters in the search window. (Old school search can be configured also, but why?) Pop in now almost 91 and still dance master at the center. Because I can configure buttons as big as I want, pop is downsizing to a 9" netbook with a 1024x600 touchscreen. Who said you can't teach old dogs (including myself) new tricks? Billy from Philly
